BikeMaster TruGel Deep Cycle Battery

  • Has a Much Longer Storage Life on the Shelf or in the Bike
  • Resists Vibration and Impacts Which Damage Regular Wet Batteries
  • Works Betters at Lower and Higher Temperatures
  • Won't Leak Like a Wet Battery, Even if the Case Cracks
  • Has a Life Span that Can be Up to Twice That of a Wet Battery
  • Maintains Contact With All of the Plates, All of the Time, Giving More Cranking Power and Longer Life
  • Will Not Sulfate Like a Wet Battery
  • 2-Year Manufacturer's Warranty
  • Durability:

TruGel Electrolyte with Nano-Gel Technology, because of its viscosity, will not flow nor leakage, and makes batteries safer than ever before. Even if the outer case were to crack, the Nano-Gel would not leak like a regular water acid based battery. In fact, we've seen these batteries continue to function with no apparent reduction in ability with holes drilled into the case!

    Deep Cycling:

Because the battery maintains 100% acid concentration, in 100% of the electrolyte, 100% of the time, the ability to use all of the electrolyte and plate surfaces, not only increase the efficiency of the battery when new, but will increase it's ability compared to a standard water battery, AND result in a very much extend battery life span.

    Extreme Temperatures:

Because of the above mentioned utilization of the electrolyte and plates, the capacity of the battery is increased. Looking at the performance curves, the fall off of the performance is much extended. This is especially true at the later stages of the standard water battery's life, where the capacity is lowered dramatically by the loss of fluid due to evaporation in the hot environment. Therefore, the BikeMaster TruGel Battery gives not just a longer life, but a higher plateau for longer in working capacity overall, but especially so in high temperatures.

An Overview of the New 2010 Yamaha Scooters

!±8± An Overview of the New 2010 Yamaha Scooters

Yamaha has been a forerunner in the production of gas-powered scooters, and the company is introducing six new or enhanced models for the year 2010. With an eye on style and design, Yamaha continues to offer some of the best gas mileage that's available with any comparably-sized scooters. Prices run between ,100 and ,500 which makes these gas-powered bikes economical transportation for around-the-town driving. As always, Yamaha has striven to enhance their newest models in order to provide the utmost in comfort, safety, and affordability to their customers.

The most expensive Yamaha scooter for 2010 is the TMAX. This little beauty is about the closest thing you can get to a motorcycle other than a cycle itself. With its die-cast aluminum frame, automatic fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, four valve per cylinder engine, 4-piston caliper dual front disc brakes, and multifunction instrument panel, this scooter is truly the Cadillac of the Yamaha line. It boasts an estimated fuel efficiency of 47 mpg making it far more economical to drive than any larger vehicle on the road.

The highest gas efficiency of the 2010 models comes with the reintroduced Zuma scooter. This model has the appearance of being both sporty and racy. It has carburetor settings and exhaust catalyzer technology designed to reduce exhaust emissions which makes it a significantly green vehicle to operate. The Zuma is very convenient to operate with both a push button electric starter and a fully automatic transmissions. Two people can sit atop the double plush seat, and underneath the seat you'll find a huge cargo space for whatever you need to haul. The gas tank only holds 1.5 gallons of fuel, but since the scooter achieves an estimated fuel economy of 123 mpg, a tank of gas will take you a long, long way.

Other Yamaha models for 2010 that get excellent gas economy include the C3 with 115 mpg, the Vino Classic at 110 mpg, and the Zuma Classic that offers an estimated 89 mpg. This is a very important feature at a time when the country is in recession and unemployment rates have soared. If you can do all or most of your around-town errands using a Yamaha scooter, you'll save hundreds of dollars a year on gas and vehicle maintenance. Yamaha truly does offer a new line of scooters to carry you on into the second decade of the 21st century.

Yamaha Vino 125 scooter HID install

Custom installed a slim ballast bi-xenon 6K HID kit. We had to run wire on the relay so that the HID ballast would fire up. We also had to locate other parts of the scooter to connect a ground wire. It wasn't too difficult as long as you are familiar with the wiring and the location of the wires. The last step was to readjust the headlight so you don't blind people. The HID bulbs come with a metal deflector that keeps the light from spraying all over the place. -Purchased the slim ballast from ebay, make sure to look for the ones with a metal harness around the bulb. -The rear light modulator cost me .95 from ebay.

Yamaha OEM Parts: It Just Makes Sense

!±8± Yamaha OEM Parts: It Just Makes Sense

Have you ever found yourself spending hour upon hour in search of OEM Motorcycle Parts? This can happen whether you are a mechanic working in a shop or you know how to maintain and repair your own bike. Although you can easily find the parts you need, it takes a watchful eye not to be taken by dealers who seem to have no problem padding the price. As you know, your motorcycle requires both routine maintenance and lots of TLC that cars just don't need. The more you ride your bike, the more frequently you need oil changes, tires and other accessories to keep your high performance bike on the road where you both are happiest. And even when you find the right part, it's so frustrating to have to sit on your hands and wait until it finally makes its way to you.

OEM motorcycle part dealers alleviate the headaches of turning your pockets inside out and getting your parts to you at a snail's pace. The beauty of the Internet means that your bike and all its parts are viewable on microfiche. What this means is whether you own an ATV, a sport bike, a dirt bike or a cruiser, buying the exact part you need means cutting out the middle man and getting it quicker and cheaper. Think about it, you are the one riding your bike, you know her the best. Between the intimate relationship you have built up with your machine and the owner's manual, you can be your bike's most reliable mechanic.

Now you are probably wondering what OEM parts are, right? OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturing. What this means to you is that everything you buy, whether it's a new kickstand, tires, a new suspension or a whole new carburetor ignition system, means that they are all genuine Yamaha parts.

It doesn't matter what type of bike you are fixing, or what part you are putting in them, you need to know that the part will work and it won't void any warranties. Most importantly, when you get on your bike and are riding on the freeway or on those back roads and are hugging those curves, nothing shakes, shimmies and you can take the bike as fast as you want to and never worry about anything.
